Art of Shunya Yamashita - Rachelle Fine Art Bust

Acclaimed Japanese illustrator Shunya Yamashita returns with this, the 13th character in his line of Fine Art Busts. In the past, Yamashita was best known for his work on such varied projects as Final Fantasy X and Depth Fantasia. He has since found even greater acclaim for his figural collaborations with Kotobukiya.

Should one describe Rachelle as simple and innocent? While she strikes a demure, schoolgirl-like pose, don't overlook the two sticks of dynamite she has ready in her right hand. Rachelle is a perfect dichotomy of danger and youth, a theme present in much of Yamashita-sensei's work.
