NHL Series 12 - Chris Pronger

There was a tremendous amount of player movement in 2005 and McFarlane was able to put together a lineup of Sports Picks figures updated to their new teams for NHL Series 12. The series includes Nikolai Khabibulin from the Chicago Blackhawks, Chris Pronger from the Edmonton Oilers, Jeremy Roenick from Los Angeles Kings, Paul Kariya from the Nashville Predators, Peter Forsberg from the Philadelphia Flyers and Sidney Crosby from the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The painful lockout did accomplish at least two things -- it picked up the pace of the game on ice, and it leveled the playing field to help smaller market teams keep their core players and even bring in established talent to help. Edmonton wasted no time landing favorite son Chris Pronger to solidify their defense. The longtime Blues captain left the Midwest behind and immediately became Edmonton's best player on the blue line. The revamped Oilers are contending in the Northwest Division and are only too happy to be playing in the "new NHL."

This Chris Pronger figure is about 6" tall and sculpted in an action pose. Sold as eaches.
